Notes from Mo's Mom: Since I couldn't make it out to the barn today - Dairy farm trip and then attempting to study for my Nutrition final tomorrow morning, I thought I would share a little Mo tidbit! <3

For those interested, Mo's pedigree is available for viewing online! Check it out HERE . He's something of a mutt - a little Russian, more Polish and a splash of Crabbet somewhere back in there. Fun if you like Arab hoity-toitery - I just like to look at all the old school pictures!

HA PRINCE AHEARTS
"Mojito" Hi there, my name's HA Prince Ahearts - but everyone at the barn just called me Mojito, since apparently my Mom has decided that Prince is not such a cool name and since this isn't the 80's, we had to do something a bit less....retro. If Mom ever gets around to earning some real money, she says we'll get my full name changed too - since it should have been "On The Rocks"!. Much cooler and fitting, right?!

Anyway, Mom decided I should have a place of my own where I can tell people how things really go down on a day to day basis, since humans aren't so good at that fine detail stuff. I think she's really hoping for a horsie baby book to chronicle my growing up and blah blah blah. ;) But that's not what she's going to get! So welcome to my story, "Shoulda Been: On The Rocks!".

introduction Hello, you! Welcome to Shoulda Been On The Rocks, the blog of "Mojito" the Arabian! Registered as HA Prince Ahearts (much to the ire of his present owner!), Mojito is a 6 year old, black bay Arabian gelding - and Rachel's very first horse. This journal is to chronicle our training - both Mo's and Rachel's as we learn everything from halter to showmanship to work under saddle as we take things day by day!
